Give Bugs the Boot!!

General Pest Control

Our general pest treatment includes an inspection and evaluation of your house or property to identify any infestations, harborage areas, occasional invaders, and exclusion possibilities. Once we have completed our assessment we will make our discoveries known to you and discuss a treatment plan and schedule that will meet your needs and concerns. If you have an infestation of any kind the treatment will most likely not be our general pest category. General pest is our maintenance category and is for, just that, maintenance of occasional invaders and the normal seasonal rises in population of insects that may enter your home.

General pest services can be broken into 2 areas of the home. Inside and Outside. If your main concern is inside the home we can treat the inside only we would treat the baseboards in all accessible rooms, under sinks and anywhere plumbing enters the house if accessible, all thresholds that lead to the exterior if accessible and anywhere you might have a concern about pest entering the home. Most insects come from outside the home. Our outside service would include up to 6 feet around the perimeter, the outside walls and eaves, weep holes if your house has them, depending on the time of year and weather, treatment applications may vary. Some houses may have pier and beam construction. Underneath the house, the crawl space would be a separate service and could be included and or done on occasion for an additional cost.

Mosquito Treatment

A mosquito treatment is an application of insecticide to foliage and targeted areas where mosquitos rest and breed. Mosquitos do not fly for long distances although they can be assisted by wind in open areas to cover a greater distances. When treating for mosquitos we look for potential sites such as standing water, harborage and for such breeding and resting sites like old tires, bird baths, low areas, buckets etc. Some of these areas can be remedied by removal or clean up and some treated, but all should be addressed some how or another. We believe that pest management is a team effort and our team looks forward to assisting you. Mosquito treatments can be small or large depending on your needs and the size and scope of your property. Mosquitos should be retreated very 20-30 days to be effective and that schedule could be shortened depending on weather or if you choose our our GREEN SERVICE for your choice of protection. Most yards take at least 2 services before maximum benefit is achieved.

Termite Inspection and Treatment

Termite treatments for residential homes involve a wide range of methods that aim to eliminate or control termite infestations. Some of the most common treatments include soil treatments, bait stations, fumigation, and barrier treatments. Soil treatments involve applying termiticides in the soil surrounding the home, while bait stations attract termites and use a slow-acting poison to eliminate the colony. Fumigation involves tenting the entire home and exposing it to a gas that kills all termites, while barrier treatments involve creating a barrier of treated soil or other materials that prevent termites from entering the home. The best treatment for a particular home depends on various factors, such as the severity of the infestation, the type of termites present, and the home’s construction. It is best to consult with a licensed pest control professional to devise a suitable treatment plan.
